Cantilever Racking is the best solution for storing odd shaped objects such as timber, plywood, furniture, appliances, pipes and structural steel etc. Cantilever racking enables loads to be handled by using lifting systems such as lift trucks, mobile cranes, stacker cranes, etc. These storage shelves are chosen depending on the load to be stored (mainly weight and dimensions) or the height of cantilever racking itself.
Cantilever Racking consists of columns with a vertical beam and one or two horizontal beams at the base to provide stability. These columns are made of hot-rolled metal beams at variable heights enabling to be fitted. Cantilever arm elevations are easily adjustable to accept any bundle size. A series of arms are attached on which the load is placed. Circular holes are punched on the upright, so arms can be adjusted by step of 50mm or 75mm.
The open front structure facilitates faster loading and unloading. Moreover, its design allows the loads to be fitted on one side of the structure only, or on both sides. Future expansion can be easily installed.
